Shortly after releasing a teaser in early November, Well Go USA Entertainment has just dropped the full trailer for its anticipated Kung Fu flick IP Man 4.
Acting as the final trailer before the film’s release on December 25, the clip showcases Donnie Yen, who portrays the pivotal character, heading to America for one last fight. The clip kicks off with a funny exchange at school, with the martial artist trying to explain that he teaches Kung Fu to a rather confused woman. Viewers then get a look at some of the excellent fight sequences, as well as a peek at Kwok-Kwan Chan who is portraying martial arts legend Bruce Lee.
The story will center on Ip Man‘s life after his wife’s death. In hopes to find a better future for his son, he travels to America, however is faced with a great deal of racial discrimination. This then forces Ip Man to re-examine his life and why he took up martial arts in the first place. Scott Adkins takes on a supporting role as a U.S. military fighter.
IP Man 4 is supposedly the final chapter in the martial arts franchise and reunites Yen with director Wilson Yip for one last time. IP Man originally debuted in 2008 and is based on the real-life martial artist who lived from 1893 to 1972. IP Man 4 releases in theaters on December 25.
